Planning Fall Program for Cubs & Scouts BSA
Registration Opens in August!!!
Mattatuck Fall Camping Experience
The Camp Mattatuck fall Camping Experience is designed to emulate all things we love about Summer Camp for Cubs Scouts and Scouts BSA! The program will run for three sessions. Each session will run from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon, and span over two separate weekends. The program will feature morning group activities such as shooting, swimming/boating, dutch oven cooking, etc. and Merit Badges in the afternoon. There will be a handful of Merit Badges added to this Fall Experience that is not offered over the regular summer season. Scouts can participate as a troop in this experience or on a provisional platform meaning Scouts will sign up as individuals. Scouts who sign up for this program as a provisional Scout will be assigned into a group that they will spend the weekends with and travel with for the morning group programs. This program aims to keep the Scouting Spirit alive in all of us and offer a summer camping experience for all our Scouts and Scouters.
To expand opportunities for all Scouts, we will be offering a day only option for Scouts and families with busy schedules. We are also offering a Cub Scout Day Camp option as well, Families can drop their Cub off in the morning and pick up in the late afternoon (bring your own lunch, program will be provided).

Held between Christmas and New Year’s Day 2020. Winter Camp is a unique experience where a Scout can earn merit badges and participate in activities that are not obtainable at a summer camp along with learning more about the Outdoors. The weather, activities, training, and overall camp atmosphere are vastly unique to any other Scout programs. This is not a Klondike, it is advancement and skills-based program that is fun. All meals will be provided and Scouts will be housed in cabins. Sign-ups can be done as a unit or provisional, we will have staff to provide supervision if troop leaders can’t attend.
