Giving Tuesday is a special day dedicated to supporting the organizations that hold a special place in our hearts and are making a significant impact on the world. For me, that organization is The Connecticut Rivers Council in Scouting America, as I have witnessed firsthand the tremendous good that comes from the people in our community.
- I’m referring to our youth who gain confidence, valuable skills, friendships, independence, and remarkable experiences.
- I’m referring to their parents who find peace of mind, quality time with their children, and the joy of watching them evolve into confident leaders, along with a supportive network of Scout families.
- I’m referring to our community, which benefits from hardworking individuals, responsible citizens who appreciate the importance of community service, and honorable leaders.
For all these reasons and many more, I firmly believe that the Connecticut Rivers Council is one of the best organizations to support this Giving Tuesday. The return on investment is significant when we invest in the next generation.
