Scout Skills Experience–Hiking & Navigation, 8:30am-4:00pm
Put the Outing in Scouting and navigate your way through initial rank advancement on the trails of Camp Workcoeman. Younger Scouts needing Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class requirements have the opportunity to meet with experienced campers to learn trail and hiking safety while completing a 5-mile hike at Camp Workcoeman.
Scouts will develop skills to complete Tenderfoot requirements 5a, 5b, and 5c, Second Class Requirements 3a, 3c, and 3d, and First Class Requirements 4b and 5a, all while fully satisfying the Second Class 5-mile hike, requirement 3b.
Pistol Program & Shotgun Merit Badge, 8:30am-4:00pm
Scouts are invited to participate in either the Pistol Shooting Program or Shotgun Merit Badge. Scouts may sign up for one of these opportunities.
